Richland Equities (Former name Richland Investment) was formerly known as Shenzhen Empire One Investment, which was founded in 1999 and was one of the earliest private equity investment and advisory companies in China.
Throughout more than 10 years Richland has achieved remarkable result in our investment and advisory businesses, and has built up a team of professionals with integrity and complementary skills sets.
We have managed close to RMB 2 billion of assets, and are now managers of 4 private equity funds which fully supported by local governments of Chongqing, Beijing, Shenzhen, Hunan Suzhou. We have another 4 new PE funds are under registration process.
Richland Equities is combining investment banking with private equity investing to create an innovative format for domestic private equity fund management.
Richland has invested in over 30 companies in the areas of finance, cultural & media, chemicals, precision manufacturing, medical equipment, and consumer products. Many of them have achieved our targets and exited following IPOs.
We have dozens of current investments, 8 of them are submitting for IPO in 2011, we expected that over 30 companies will submit IPO applications within 3 years.
